hello Michela
you composed exploiting well the line of the headland and I really like the division into two parts of the image, a cool-toned data from the fog against each other in the warm color of the sunset .. maybe a little too soft ihmo the foreground. ..
hello

Thanks dear Flavio:-) for this nice comment and for use completely right;-) an obsolete term that was not felt so much use (headland).
ihmo perhaps a little too soft the first order ...

When I chose the picture I had in mind a cut pano with partial crop of the first and third for these landscapes widened so I try to use the MAF in hyperfocal (with mixed results ... since we calculate distances on sight is not easy) . In this specific case by adopting a focal length of 70mm I focused to about 30 meters, knowing that the first few meters (think about a bit 'more than a dozen) would not have been in focus but which, in turn, would have earned the MAF infinity and therefore sharpness to the horizon. That's why my choice. Do you think I'm wrong? Ghanks !!! :-P
My sincere thanks to you and Luigi greetings to both! ;-)

f8 + 70mm if foccheggi 30 meters you lose prni 12 meters ... so your approach is completely right, ... (there are fabulous app for iphone !! see "depth of field calc")
the solution (for me) would have been cut down, maintaining the aspect ratio, you would cascade the narrow street in the top left and the pirma vineyard in top right;-)
headland .. in my dialect becomes " Cavedagna " so it's easy to remember! ;-) 8-)

Arvina grazieee! :-P

depth of field calc
... is the one I use myself! Flavio, I am glad to know that my approach was correct. :-)
For the crop you'll turn the picture;-) ... maintaining the aspect ratio 16: 9 This is what I was able to compose inserting in diagonal not the beginning but the end of the track to the left of Cavedagna:-D. Thanks again !!!

Christiano thank you so much! :-P

Good evening to all!

atmospheric image of tender melancholy and natural colors and not "shouted", almost film. I have some reservations on the first plane out of focus, something that, in landscape photography, rarely pays. For the hyperfocal (you know better than me) you can get tables that take into account the size of the sensor, focal and diaphragms to evaluate it quickly, even if the scales are not always easy to pinpoint on a zoom. The two human figures were definitely a plus if they had not behind a fund houses a bit 'confused and, therefore, are difficult to read. It remains a beautiful composition with the path and the vineyard that seem ideally converge towards the upstream end and an air of pleasant atmosphere suspended in time.
PS wishes for the D750: a stunning reflex.
Claudio
