, Posa B f/2.8, ISO 1600,

Elio.

Thanks guys, the photo is not too bad although I expected a little more from quet'ottica, but having only paid 100 euro can not complain too much. ;-)

Elio explain a AWhat the white balance.

It is in this that the one with the leica 180 you used the 5DII.
In the one with the Leica the Pleiades have their nebulosity 'blue.
This with the 50 / 1.4 are white wow! Wow!

How do you explain?
Excuse and 'just to figure out how to do the balancing of whites;-)

Perseus, to use custom white balance Canon, ie after replacing the original filter with the astronomical, I did the custom white balance with the classic gray card under a beautiful sunny day.
Then the astronomical software that I use to help me find the right balance, keep in mind that this type of photography the color balance still remains very personal, not for nothing are much more variants of a single entity.
In this case I used the same steps that I have taken the Lovejoy and the Pleiades, but I do not know if it's the fault of the lens or something else, but already in the original files the Pleiades are almost totally discolored.

Elio.
