Dopo una giornata passata a visitare Skogafoss, Dyrholaey, le spiagge nere e la costa a sud in generale, decido di fare il tramonto alla famosa spiaggia Reynisdrangar, dove si ergono in mare due monumentali rocce ormai diventate famose tra tutti i paesaggisti del mondo; prima però di preparare lo scatto alle rocce, visto che tanto il cielo non offriva spunti per lunghe esposizioni o qualsiasi altro effetto interessante, ho voluto provare uno scatto dentro questa caverna scavata ai piedi del monte che divide questa spiaggia da Vik, il più conosciuto paesello dall'altra parte della montagna. Proprio ai piedi della montagna vi sono questi splendidi blocchi basaltici che sono davvero uno spettacolo da quanto sono definiti e perfettamente rettangolari.
