con Canon EF 1.4x III, 1/1000 f/6.3, ISO 5000, hand held. Specie: Connochaetes taurinus

I would say that as far as the lighting situation you have handled it very well. There never tired of watching scenes of crossing. Nice pic

ISO 5000? Misery. And honestly feared all this noise, I can not see it so strongly. Very dynamic scene. No sketches in front of the little guy jumping, would be more readable, but in this chaos, I suppose, is not at all easy. Congratulations to the guide / driver! :-D 8-)

Iso 5000 in order to maintain a shutter speed higher than 1/1000 and freeze the scene! I've also, as you say more "readable" but the presence of the spray in my opinion makes the idea of ??dynamism and urgency of the moment:-D:-D

Beautiful, high ISO and you do not notice the noise, however, takes a back seat to the spectacle of nature!

really amazing! great wildebeest frozen during the jump, the sketches of what preceded it and the herds hesitant, piled on the shore. spectacular, congratulations

Fabio, considering the time (late afternoon) and weather conditions (rain and grayness spread) the 1D MkIV net of iso behaved very well and the merit is justly attributed ... If we consider that I shot freehand perched (literally!) on the roof of the jeep in precarious balance, a little bit to me:-D:-D:-D

Pandemonium thanks for your enthusiastic comment:-P:-P

Thanks for visiting Matteo: in shooting effects deserved to be contextualized in a story that, even partially, would recreate the atmosphere of those moments ;-) ;-)
