at 400mm, 1/1600 f/7.1, ISO 640, hand held. Centro Cicogne e Anatidi di Racconigi, Italy. Specie: Ardea cinerea

Crop da orizzontale a verticale, focale 400 mm. Curiosa scena, l'airone parte in quarta con le ali aperte verso di noi, subito non ci siamo resi conto del perchè..., poi abbiamo capito, aveva avvistato una biscia a pelo d'acqua, 3 scatti della sequenza mentre ne analizza le dimensioni, prova a predarla, ma alla fine sguscia via, con l'airone che rimane fermo a guardare, probabilmente resosi conto che ingoiarla stavolta era dura !!
