I see that your landscape ranges from the Ciuita Marmoleda with the center of the Monte Pore, I do not see the data, put it, I'd love to tell you the legend of the Princess de Pore, here
Who will walk through the wooded trails above Colle Saint Lucia, Laste or Larzonei, one can encounter in woodcuts showing the "road of the vein."
On the road down into the valley from the Falzarego Cordevole, we turn to the right, to visit what remains of the Castle of Andraz, which is nothing more than a large tower built on a large rock erratic
Many, many centuries ago, these paths were covered by the columns of the mules and the miners who came down from the mountain Pore, brought iron ore extracted from the bowels of the mountain.
The Monte Pore is that strange and barren mountain landslide which can be seenvery well, going up to the Passo Giau: Mount is so bare because dug in her womb for millennia.
The legend says that every seven years, a virgin was conducted in the bowels of the mountain to be crowned Queen of the Dwarves who dwelt in the mountain; so that the collection of iron could always be abundant.
But it was a queen, jealous of the beauty of the girl, who hid the truth: in fact a magician had predicted that the virgin (the Delibana) had to go around the mountain with a magic wand and when this had been driven into the ground, there had to dig . The inhabitants of the place, not knowing the truth, they believed the queen.
The ceremony was so touching and `Delibana the dress she wore, it was so beautiful that the princess daughter of Principe Andraz, he wished with all his heart to become itself the next Delibana. But the Prince, that no one knew how young she returned from the mine, when the dwarves brought the dress `s last Delibana, hid him so that his daughter would not find it.
He spent a bit of time and the villagers demanded that a Delibana was sent into the kingdom of the dwarves, so that the harvest of iron was always plentiful, but the Prince was opposed strongly.
But it so happened that the Princess discovered the magic dress and worn, was bewitched. Nothing more could be done here `s last Delibana; yes, because the young man went into the kingdom of the dwarves and not returned.
The Prince, heartbroken and angry at the villagers, since then, prevented by arms to celebratein ceremony and Delibana, Princess, it was the last `. young to be sacrificed to the collection of iron.
We can retrace those paths: there is only one entrance to the mines and is located near the village of Colle Santa Lucia.

Thank you, Commissioner, now I advertise for my villager, Bolzano, who died in the 60's, Carl Felix Wolff, it was he who seek to rewrite and legends of the Dolomites. A book entitled "Legends of the Dolomites" is his legacy, has removed from oblivion, certainly without the Wolff were lost. If anyone wants to read them knows well the title now. He lived with his brother, a painter who pittava only the Rosengarten area, were of a poverty that did not even have to eat, and people did not know how to do because they were also very decent, did not accept anything. With a few tricks they always feed them these two artists, and it was good, they left us a beautiful legacy

I understand all the difficulties of the case for having lived, so I appreciate the shot even if you do not have a close-up striking. I particularly like the PP very well made and that makes us a picture and a realistic atmosphere.
Compliments. Even for having "survived" Gianmarco:-D

Hello Simon, nice shot very natural, charming and true color.
I guess the effort to get to the top ...... But the mountain offers unique and unrepeatable sensations! And every effort is always rewarded.
Greetings louis

Of its kind, very beautiful (more than the one you linked, in my opinion).
One of the best landscape photos posted in this forum lately.
A praise for the balance that you are getting into the final PP.
Compliments.
A cordial greeting.

Great shot, great atmosphere and PP, I agree with Hilary on the first floor even if the reading of the picture is a snap for good composition.
These are moments to be seized as they imagine long and otherwise are very short, the light changes and you're screwed and in those brief moments you have several things to check.
Good

hello mum! finally you're back from your trip! :-D:-D
head knows that you have done to the poor Gianmarco! :-D
:-D
coming to the photos I can tell you that I find beautiful, well composed (but this is your must!) and I also pp. peace that is simple but at the same time has increased the fine details and contrasts.
only flaw in my opinion is the dirty snow, the line you entered is excellent, but it seems to be at the roadside near the ski lifts.
Of course it will be what you have found .... but it makes little the idea of ??"high mountain" .. I know that gian will have eliminated all of its exclusive use fresh:-D:-D and then you found what you were c 'it was!

I like all the rest!

One word: amazing ... amazing ... pdc
The dirty snow can annoy, so "shot" in the foreground, it makes it all the more realistic.

Simone Bravo, I can not compliment you. Given the lack of knowledge of the places you've still found an excellent pdr. For the dirty snow I see so much in other parts (and other photos of Gianmarco) I think it can be considered an integral part of the landscape (in my personal opinion, of course). For the PP, I can only say very good, I like it a lot cleanliness and sharpness of the photo.

Very nice atmosphere and cozy, despite the rush as you say in the story I think that the composition is very apt. For me it is a great shot.

I really like the composition and management of the landscape in the post, not the first floor but has an important role in the composition.
Greetings, good day.

Commissioner Hello, I really like the light and the atmosphere that you have read, as I have already said a little less on the first floor. I saw that you did Gian traipsing up the track Fedare; This is a small ski area, never find a big crowd on the slopes and at least a couple of times in the season quà I go skiing. I think you have dragged the good Gian ;-):-D on the most beautiful and scenic of our mountains! Some time ago, I got up to walk too Nuvolau to try the 14/24 but I have not found a great evening. Hello, Dino

I will not thank you all one at a time because they do not end up more, I am very pleased that, apart from the first floor, there is the photo piaciuta.Per who knows me, and for those who have had the opportunity to follow my work, certainly will know that the My post productions are almost always marked by the soft colors, and be able to convey some of the atmosphere of the moment for me is of paramount importance.
I really thank most sincerely all those who have stopped to comment on the photos.

just a note on the choice of the first floor because it is undeniable that many of you do not like ia
I was never allowed to contradict the tastes of the users and even to defend to the hilt my stylistic choices, but forgive me the first floor, what can I say, love it :-| :-| :-|
<br /> I wanted to emphasize the purpose of the yellow sand that has "dirtied" the snowpack, to create a color contrast between the warm tones in the foreground and the cold sfondo.è one thing that lately I have been researching in my photos, but I realize not everyone can like it, (the photography is beautiful too) ;-)
then finally responding to my dear rompiamico Gianluca, I do not know what I should put in front of the 14mm to let you know that we were in the high mountains, the Yeti had committed itself Gianmarco with tests moved:-D
Joking aside, I used the lines of the track just to create the lines that I needed to guide the eye towards the mountains, I had no other available unless the footsteps of Gianmarco who had gone before me:-D

however I still have a couple of photos to propose, toone with a close-up more interesting (hopefully) still complain if someone tries to hook him on a leash Gianmarco, I do get on Nuvolau so I want to see if you are still concerned about the Spotlight:-D:-D: -D

mess you guys, we know each other ;-)

Greetings all, thank you very much.

The first floor you have mentioned ;-) But I face a similar scene would pass over us, I know how difficult it is at times remain lucid and click dialing to dovere.Tu have exploited very well what you had before your eyes, and PP then you've managed to make the scene framed in a realistic manner without esagerare.Dietro in a shot like that there are a lot of passion for the mountains and photography, and for that you deserve all my compliments ;-) Simone a salutone: - P:-P
