Sì è una Canon FTb, la mia prima reflex. Avevo 18 anni e, dopo il furto della Leica ereditata da papà, l'ho acquistata con notevoli sacrifici (ero studente). Ricordo che avevo puntato la Nikkormat e l'Olympus OM1 ma erano fuori badget.
Sono poi rimasto legato al marchio quasi per caso: con il passaggio al digitale,nel 2004/2005, Canon era, per opinione quasi unanime, un passo avanti rispetto a Nikon. Oggi, in linea di massima, si equivalgono (a mio giudizio eh!).
In ogni caso, sono convinto che farei le stesse foto con entrambi i marchi e, per restare sulle ff, anche con Sony.
Yes it is a Canon FTb, my first SLR. I was 18 and, after the theft of the Leica inherited from Dad, I bought with great sacrifices (my student). I remember that I had staked Nikkormat and Olympus OM1 but they were out badget.
They are then left tied to the brand almost by chance: with the digital switchover, in 2004/2005, Canon was, almost unanimous opinion, a step ahead of Nikon. Today, in principle, they are the same (in my opinion eh!).
In any case, I am convinced that I would do the same photo with both brands and to remain on ff, also with Sony.

La tua deve essere la seconda serie (del 1973), quella con la leva per la chiusura del diaframma nera, simile a quella dell'ammiraglia F1 (nel tuo avatar, ovviamente, è a lati invertiti: allo specchio?). Nel 1971 era comparsa la prima edizione che aveva qualcosina in meno: non aveva i tempi nel mirino, la leva di cui sopra era più grossa e più...metallica, non c'era il coperchietto a molla che copriva il contatto flash. Io avevo, ripeto, quella del '73 come la tua e la vendetti per comprare la neonata Nikon FM. Ma qualche anno l'ho ricomprata, in entrambe le versioni, quella del '71, nera e anche con il bellissimo 50 mm f/1,4 SSC...rigorosamente con collare di serraggio! Bei tempi! Dopo la FM, dopo una pausa lunga con la Olympus OM3, nel 2000 presi F80 e subito dopo F100. La prima digitale una D300
