Ciao, Sergio

I really like ... great use of the focal length, good idea, in my view, composition, very good tones and delicate handling of light ... a photo that brings us back to a past time, congratulations

Franco

Thanks Sergio, your visit and comments are very welcome. I do not like the photos of the masks at the Venice carnival. I tried a more unusual. Your words comforted my choice.
A warm greeting.

a beautiful Carnival of Venice, a beautiful shot of a complement to so much confusion, so much joy, so much transgression

Grazie Briè, scusa il colpevole ritardo!
Grazie Claudio.
Franco

Thanks brie, pardon the culprit late!
Thanks Claudio. This is absolutely the first shot I made to try my new 70-200 f2.8 Isii. The photos will not be a masterpiece, but since then, with that goal, it was love!
Best wishes to both.

definitely an excellent glass, on the word. I see that you have remained loyal to the brand Canon: one that appears in your avatar is a FTb?

Yes it is a Canon FTb, my first SLR. I was 18 and, after the theft of the Leica inherited from Dad, I bought with great sacrifices (my student). I remember that I had staked Nikkormat and Olympus OM1 but they were out badget.
They are then left tied to the brand almost by chance: with the digital switchover, in 2004/2005, Canon was, almost unanimous opinion, a step ahead of Nikon. Today, in principle, they are the same (in my opinion eh!).
In any case, I am convinced that I would do the same photo with both brands and to remain on ff, also with Sony.

was the FTB also my first SLR, the serious car: a very good training ship with his spot meter that you stimulated to think. Your must be the second series (1973), the one with the lever for closing the aperture black, similar to that of the flagship F1 (in your avatar, of course, is to the sides reversed: the mirror?). In 1971 the first edition had appeared that had a little bit less: he had time in the viewfinder, the lever above was bigger and more ... metal, there was the spring lid covering the flash contact. I had, I repeat, that of '73 as yours and I sold to buy the newly Nikon FM. But a few years I bought back, in both versions, that of '71, black and also with the beautiful 50mm f / 1.4 SSC ... strictly with clamping collar! good times! After the FM, after una long break with the Olympus OM3, taken in 2000 and soon after F80 F100. The first digital a D300

I confirm, mine was a FTb of the second set.
You're an expert!
