E' un vecchio obiettivo che ho acquistato usato nel 1996 per le prime fotografie che facevo del cielo. Mi è sempre piaciuto molto. Lo usavo per lo più con una Nikon FM2 e una Nikkormat Ftn e pellicola Scotch Chrome 800-3200.
Quando sono arrivato al digitale un giorno quasi per scherzo ho fatto foto ti prova verso uno scorcio di un tetto con diversi obiettivi, tutti canon e tutti L, un 400 2.8 un 300 2.8 ma anche il conosciutissimo 24-105 e mi pare un 16-35 II.
Bhe devo dirti che sono rimasto sbalordito dalla resa del nikon 180 ED soprattutto usato a f/5.6, uno spettacolo.
Poi usandolo anche per fare ritratti, ne ho tantissimi ma non mi piace pubblicarli, ho scoperto anche la morbidezza dello sfocato, anche qui una bellissima resa.
Alla fine, pur avendo anche il 70-200 2.8 II e il 200 2.0, vedi per il peso, vedi per le dimensioni contenute spesso e volentieri il 180 è con me. Mi manca molto l'autofocus....ma che spettacolo di fondo di bottiglia!!!!!

Il punto di ripresa è piuttosto tipico, ma questo scatto ha qualcosa di magico. Per un Mantovano che ha lasciato casa ormai da 20 anni è un dolce tuffo nella nostalgia.
