Ciao Alberto,
Davide

Hello Alberto,
nebulae at the bottom (two: one very big and a little one) are M8 and M20. Continuing upward, we find a stellar cloud known as M24 and finally the nebulae M16 and M17.
The region that you have taken of the Milky Way is located near the Sagittarius.
At [URL =] www.astrotrezzi.it/?p=3516 find my shot of the same region of the Milky Way.
A greeting and if you need more infos send me a PM as well,
David

Bella foto!

Did you get the Milky Way in Sagittarius. From the bottom M8 lagoon nebula M20 Trifid nebula. Further up the neb omega eagle nebula M17 and M16. On the sides of the clusters M25 and M23 plus other smaller scattered here and there. Beautiful photo!

ciaux,
Davide

Thanks for the comment! However, I forgot to compliment you for your photo. You must have taken a really dark place wow!
However, the Nikon have a very low noise at high ISO. Take it from someone who has four Canon for home and two from the girl ;-)
ciaux,
David

Grazie a te Davide!

Ciao
Alberto

Thank you David! Place and 'Monte Marcello above Bocca di Magra (Sp): You said it was really good pitch dark (10 August), although given the low level moisture' to define the sea prevents the horizon for good ...
For the camera I must admit that it has very little noise ... but then 'I am speaking with PS and disasters do:-P:-D
I have to learn to develop for the good shots ... slowly we'll be able '!

Ps I'm getting to grips with the tracker Minitrack hand-wound: the pointing and 'simple and effective but I have to learn to manage the poses and timing (I'm also trying with dark frames etc..). Soon I'll post something decent.

Hello
Alberto

Hello Alberto, I'm sure that if you make a good post production of this shot better be able to bring out the Milky Way, even if only modestly increasing the brightness, along with the tone curves and saturation, however, remember to set your camera to RAW and to do PP on RAW instead of JPEG files. Are you an advantage because your camera is much less noisy than the Canon, and labor, less during the post production with PS .... Effectively offsets much help to get a better photo, then each series of frames to be added should be accompanied by dark-bias-flat even if it is boring them ... :-/ I know it is a sheaf especially at the end of the session when you take the sleep and fatigue, on the other hand there is a reason we have to do considering that we can not do without them:-D ... I say this more for me than for you! :-D by the courage, afterand uphill roads should begin the downhill:-D A salutone, Beppe

Alberto

Thanks Beppe ... I see that you are also being tested and suffering:-D ... sure to see some photos of the guru amateur astronomers think it's normal! The shot you see is derived from a raw jpeg not, however, 'I have had pastrugnare for good to bring out the nebulose.Sto spending hours at the pc to try and try different settings with LR and PS and I think I figured out where I'm wrong ... In the shooting phase often having no references sovraespongo a bit 'troppo.Questa photo for example, would have been more 'clean with 10 sec or less (it was really dark) or I could further lower the iso.In substance I have a little experience with calm everything from new equipment: the D600 has a sensor really fabulous for these genres, it's up to me now to find the right confidence.

Hello and thanks for the ride.
Alberto
