il nibbio bramino vive in prossimità di stagni o lungo il mare ed ha dimensioni simili al nostro falco di palude.
Si apposta, come le nostre poiane, in un punto elevato (palo/palma) o volteggia alla ricerca di pesci.
Ho avvistato diversi esemplari in un grande stagno denominato Thale Noi (26 kmq) nel sud della Thailandia, che lungo le coste e le isole.
In un caso l'ho visto pescare in compagnia dell'aquila pancia bianca (vedi foto nella serie aquile) e poi posarsi in cima alle palme da cocco prima di librarsi nuovamente in volo.

Brahminy kites live near ponds or along the sea and has a similar size to our marsh harrier.
It is on purpose, as our buzzards, at a high point (pole / palm) or circling in search of fish.
I have seen several examples in a big pond called Thale Noi (26 sq km) in the south of Thailand, along the coasts and islands.
In one case I saw fish in the company of the eagle white belly (see photo in the series eagles) and then sit on top of the coconut palms before hovering in the air again. Ciao
