Primavera del 1980, sono partito in vespa con quattro soldi in tasca. Ottica Centrale di Vicenza, quante volte ho schiacciato il naso su quella splendida vetrina. Un signore molto gentile vedendo quel ragazzino con una passione immensa e con pochi soldi, mi disse apertamente " Quanti soldi hai in tasca"! Io ricordo che con un po' di imbarazzo svuotai le tasche e risposi "Questi"! C'era qualche banconota da 50 Mila Lire e da 10 e anche da 5 Mila.Mi e' rimasto impresso il suo sorriso amico, quasi da padre mi disse "Roberto, oggi ti faccio un regalino, vedi questa e' un nuovo modello di reflex che vedrai ti dara' soddisfazione" Ando' in vetrina e mi diede in mano questa meraviglia, la toccai la guardai gia' con amore. "Signore io non ho tutti quei soldi, non posso prenderla"!!! "Dai tote su' sta' machineta e parti prima che cambi idea" mi disse quasi commosso. Ringraziai mille volte e non mi sembrava vero, volavo per la contentezza. Ancora mi commuovo pensare quel giorno...Io amo questa reflex... Parte della mia vita.
