Immagine senza nessuna pretesa, è un passaggio intermedio dell'elaborazione Interessante, però, per la forma anomala della coda, nella sua zona più distante dal nucleo. Inizialmente pensavo fosse una sorta di artefatto derivante dalle operazioni di stacking e di soppressione delle stelle, ma poi ho avuto conferma che si trattava di un fenomeno temporaneo, visibile solo la mattinata del 18 ottobre, dovuto all'interazione della tempesta solare avvenuta pochi giorni prima con la coda di ioni della cometa
