Intanto in questo caso si è molto vicini ,ma essendo montato l'obiettivo alla rovescia, la distanza tra la lente frontale e il soggetto è uguale al tiraggio della reflex e quindi resta costante per qualsiasi ingrandimento. Al contrario degli obiettivi macro montati normalmente che più si alza il rapporto di riproduzione più si è costretti ad avvicinarci al soggetto fino quasi a toccarlo e quindi impossibile illuminarlo bene.
