@Picascon and Daniele Origgi: thank you!
@Mattia Campos
first of all thank you, from the tests done with the OM3 so far, I do not find any blurring of the details in the hires photos compared to the normal ones unless there is any movement in the photo.
In the specific case of the photo for the details of writings and railings we are talking about 100% zoom and there I think it is simply due to the 2500 ISO or the very small size of the details indicated compared to the photo.
If I had to retake the photo today I would probably also try to reduce the ISO with larger apertures but considering that I had gone out for a walk without a tripod I am still satisfied.
If you want to see the various files we talk about it here, at the bottom of page 6:

you can see in this photo ;-)

No no, trust me ;-) The "evident" kneading is due to the high res. I am convinced that the normal RAW file is much sharper.. the RAW is quite sharper and the JPEG is a little sharper (obviously since there is less mpx the writings will be grainier, but sharper)

The P7280046 file is the best, even compared to this one you posted.
(the 0051 is slightly sharper but has too little resolution and is much noisier)
the one with DXO is clearly the worst of all

Ciao Mattia,

hi res dxo no noise reduction ai

hi res dxo DeepPrime XD/XD2s noise reduction ai

File da 20mpx OOC

Cosa ho imparato
