A rich and pretty picture of life in common. :-D
I'm going to interpret since it was not on the field.
Look at the nose of the Galatea which is already clear of his own. The brightness is amplified by the roost also white, which acts as a diffuser panel. The light hitting it does is reflected on the face of the butterfly making it more clear than necessary. Unlike the melitea is already darker and the roost does not receive light in the same way in which it receives the greater, so its influence is almost nothing.
Personally I would have underexposed, then to try to restore a more correct the brightness with a shot filling. I am convinced that the white part of the dark side and the other would have been more readable.
I'm sorry ifI bored.

I think he did a Pigi-depth commentary and that is really important to get to always improve.
The fact is that the shot but it is well executed and therefore perhaps with PS you can still recover what Pigi points out very well. Obviously, you have to play on two layer masks separate one for the Galatea and one for the Melitea.

The picture, however, I like it.

HELLO and see you soon at that Curone!

Ciao Fausto,

Hello Fausto,

after the perfect comment (almost a photography course for free!) of Pigi that ... it is always helpful to learn, I can say that the picture is more than excellent and I like it too.
If you use lightroom just use the healing brush and slightly lighten the shadows on melitea and darken the lights on galatea. In photoshop you can retrieve using the selections very blurred.

nothing to say about the technical comments of those who have gone before me ... to me shooting like a lot, I do not see a big need for corrections because I think it's already excellent so ... hello.
