Sesto Calende. Alzaia del Ticino. Non vedevo una garzetta in quella località dal settembre del 2018. Qui è in procinto di atterrare. Il tempo di 1/400 l'avevo scelto per fotografare questa garzetta, insieme ad alcuni cavalieri d'Italia, mentre zampettavano sulla riva del Ticino (se avessi saputo che avrebbe spiccato il volo ne avrei scelto uno più rapido). Il risultato è che alcune piume si vedono mosse. Questa foto è in una sequenza visibile nel primo post dei commenti sottostanti. #Volo #Fly

Qui stavo fotografando la garzetta con i due cavalieri d'italia, con il punto di MaF (tramite il Real-Time Tracking del'A6400) sul cavaliere di sinistra.
Ho adottato il tempo di 1/400, parendomi sufficientemente rapido per fotografare gli uccelli che zampettano sulla riva senza alzare troppo gli ISO.

18:16:28.
In questa foto, presa due secondi dopo quella qui sopra; la garzetta è scattata prendendo il volo.
Non me l'aspettavo, altrimenti avrei adottato un tempo più rapido; mentre con 1/400 è venuta mossa. Oltretutto parte del capo e di un'ala escono dall'inquadratura.
Dal punto di vista tecnico e compositivo sarebbe da cestinare; però l'ho tenuta in quanto fa da anello di congiunzione narrativo tra la precedente e la successiva.

18:16:32.
Tempo quattro secondi e, dopo aver zoomato all'indietro, visualizzato la garzetta (che con quello scatto era uscita dall'inquadratura), posizionato l'uccello al centro del mirino e quindi zoomato in avanti, ho scattato questa foto.
Il modulo AF dell'A6400 e il motore lineare del 70-350 hanno fatto il loro dovere.
Questo PdR non è certo quello che evidenzia l'eleganza del volo della garzetta (di cui oltretutto non si vede il becco). Sotto tale aspetto è più riuscita questa, che ho preso l'11 Settembre 2018

Oltretutto, con 1/400, alcune piume appaiono mosse.
Però l'ho tenuta in quanto bizzarra e curiosa.
Si notino in proposito le piume sul bordo d'entrata delle ali (se mi si passa questa terminologia aeronautica) agitate dalla turbolenza. Suggeriscono l'idea di una prossimità allo stallo.
Da ciò e dalla posizione dei carrell… pardon… delle zampe, si deduce che la garzetta è in fase di atterraggio.

Circa venti secondi dopo l'atterraggio ho fotografato la garzetta seminascosta dalla vegetazione.
Il cigno sullo sfondo è la femmina della coppia che seguo dalla primavera del 2017, e le cui cove e nidiate ho messo nelle gallerie Cigni - 2, 4, 5 e 6.
