Apocalypse now sent on January 10, 2023 (12:11) by Fabio F77. 41 comments, 1106 views.

Italy repudiates war as an instrument of offense against the freedom of other peoples and as a means of resolving international disputes; allows, on equal terms with other States, the limitations of sovereignty necessary for an order which ensures peace and justice among nations; promotes and fosters international organizations aimed at this end

A caption that accompanies the image by applause, the first comment is from connoisseurs and who wants to understand, means 8-)

........ jubilates the war

from the famous book of cold.... I also noted this :-D
Obviously, the reference to Article 11 does not imply that I approve of indirect support (financing, sending weapons...) to the war. But only and exclusively a condemnation of violence, understood as a refuge for the incapable.

As you wanted to prove ;-)
It does not seem to me that Italy has applied Article 11, especially in the last 30 years.

I would say no, but as my grandmother used to say, who miraculously survived the first bombing of Rome and was left homeless in the second, war can only appeal to those who have never seen it.

The beauty is that we make war to bring the... peace! Sad indeed... When one declares war we should roll out a carpet to welcome! :-or

Of course there was no air of mass weapons; My reference was to the war currently going on.

Chinooks are the emblem of the Vietnam War.
The image has a strong emotional impact.
For the rest:
we descend from Cain and Romulus not being able, for obvious reasons, to descend from Abel and Remus.
So this inclination has been handed down in our DNA. I fear that wars, born with us, with us will die. We unleash them, at regular intervals, now on economic grounds, sometimes racial reasons, now political reasons, now reasons of 'security'" but, deep down, it seems that we cannot do without them. And they are also used, once finished, as a driving force to reactivate the economic cycle dragged by the need for reconstruction.
Greetings
GG
