Settembre 2022 - Una nevicata precoce mi distrae momentaneamente da cervi e lupi e mi conduce alle quote che amo maggiormente. Sono alla ricerca delle pernici, le tracce nella neve soffice abbondano. Purtroppo, nonostante l'impegno per cercarle, non riesco a trovarne nemmeno una. La neve fresca rivela la presenza di un altro abitante delle alte quote; la lepre variabile...una miriade di piste si intrecciano tra loro, decido di seguire le impronte di un cucciolo che dopo un lungo girovagare spariscono sotto un grosso masso; "sono troppo vicino, sarà sicuramente scappata vedendomi arrivare" e invece era lì immobile, una giovane lepre mi guardava con muso scocciato. Un paio di foto e levo il disturbo, purtroppo di meglio non si poteva fare. Fotograficamente un risultato modesto ma l'emozione di vederla da così vicino è sempre incommensurabile.
