unfortunately I can not answer exactly I just know that should be part of the family of whales ... hopefully someone more experienced of us see pictures and comments telling us what kind it is:-D

Ciao e buona luce, lauro

It seems to me a copy of pilot whale (Globicephala melas). Good composition and maf. Proveei to darken the whole thing in a bit. Advice in these cases to raise the iso (400) in order to close the diaphragm F.7 0.1 to 8 (x increase the pdc and sharpness) and get a faster shutter speed (to reduce the shake of the subject and consequently increase the sharpness).
Currency to support in the future, the 28-135mm a good average optical-zoom like the tamron 70-300mm vc usd providing it with UV filter that you would avoid the need not to crop too ;-) or a multifaceted canon 100-400mm l is usm.
You can also supply a title as indicated in the Regulation? . Serve with a title the photo posted allows you to use any search engine to find it ;-).
Hello and good light, laurel

I had not put the title because I was not sure what a plant ditch, now I upgrade soon:-D
In this case I used the shutter priority at 1/800 to avoid camera shake and iso car because the sea was very rough and I was more worried about not going into the sea rather than all set the machine if it should happen again :-| comuanque follow your advice. about the equipment I have a 70-200 f4 is the case, however, did not seem to take a boat given the conditions of the sea.
re thank the passage and advice to soon have a nice day!

Try to abandon the setting of iso automatic, better otare from time to time in shutter priority and aperture. The canon 70-200mm was indicated because tropical conditions. A good battery grip and a strap reflex port you would guarantee a certain type of security to use the kit. hello laurel

I usually imposed on the iso but in this case I relied on the car given the poor condition. Then I decided to bring the 1000 and 28-135 to limit damage:-D a good belt is on the list of accessories to take some time because the original is nothing that ... ciaooo thanks again!
