, 1/20 f/11.0, ISO 50, tripod.

hello Roby, the setting is very interesting but in my opinion there is too much difference in light between the sky and the landscape. It would look pretty much like a daytime landscape with a night sky glued to it. You can also see a reflection on the ice that is not reflected in the light of the sky. You would achieve a more harmonious result by pairing a landscape shot made with darkness or at least semi-darkness. Hello!

Roby, I'm sorry that you take it personally, mine is not an insinuation, it's the observation of a different situation of light between landscape and sky, which seems to me unharmonious. And it's not a matter of "intentionally clearing to make the details of the ice appear", there is a reflection on the ice that is not reflected in the sky, as written in the comment above. Do you find it offensive that i wrote this or that i wrote things that were not true?

As an amateur I find it very pleasant and .... to me it puts that sense of cold that I don't particularly love.
Congratulations

it seems like floating in very beautiful space, a curiosity, the machine body you used was modified for astrophotography with uv filter?

Thank you Zanunda. The machine body has been modified if I remember correctly by removing 2 filters; low pass and IR (infrared) is the one that cuts infrared radiation. Then the SLR acquires in sharpness without that low pass and collects all the possible colors of the space tending to red without the IR. In this way it is ready for the, night photos in areas where, however, light pollution is scarce, otherwise it will also perceive the warm lights of the streetlights... and the, photo will take a dominant tend to red-purple

Very beautiful image, sooner or later I will have to put myself in a commitment to understand how to merge more shots and exhibitions to obtain results like this ... Congratulations to you who are already a master ;-)

Apart from the useless comments on the non-existent reflection on white ice: very nice, congratulations!
