Non perché si tratta di mio figlio, ma perché è stato un nuovo approccio alla fotografia newborn. Una sorta di piccolo traguardo. Scatto fotografie ai bambini da appena due anni. In questo, seppur breve, arco di tempo ho cercato di affinare uno stile, un mood univoco e riconoscibile, con accessori, materiali e colori che si amalgamassero insieme. Con questi scatti credo di aver raggiunto questo obiettivo che mi ero prefissato da tempo. Colori tenui come i marroni, i nocciola, il crema, il bianco e l'arancio. Colori caldi, che avvolgono con delicatezza queste piccole creature. Calore e delicatezza, come i materiali utilizzati. Il legno, la lana, la juta, le foglie essiccate, tutti accessori che richiamano la natura. Una situazione intima, tranquilla, rilassante, calda e familiare. Questo è il newborn che voglio proporre. Queste sono le composizioni che amo creare. Questa l'atmosfera che voglio trasmettere. Queste sono le emozioni che raccontano la dolcezza di questi momenti, di questi piccolissimi bambini, di quell'amore che sprigionano sguardo dopo sguardo… e che voglio poter ricordare guardando queste fotografie.
