Stexplorers: The Look of death sent on January 13, 2019 (21:32) by Jacopo Pasqualotto. 17 comments, 906 views. [retina]

at 70mm, 30 sec f/32.0, ISO 100, tripod.

Spectacular too! Congratulations.
How long does it takes to build the set?

It's a nice job congratulations....
I also regret the CCD sensor.... but if I find a camera not too worn like a d200 I buy it....

Thanks, find the D200 from Rce steadily around 180 euros, with various number of shots. My paid 180 with 16,000 shots and 1 year warranty. I took it together with the Nikkor 135 AI F 3.5 (60 euros) and I was given the 43-86 second series that no one wanted. Together with the 5d my best car! And it also makes a sound of the celestial shooting!

Quotas And it also makes a sound of the celestial shooting! /QUOTE
I think about it... almost...
I had a d3000 a decade ago the body was not great but the CCD sensor was wonderful... had unmatchable colors.... then the craving to sell it just bought the d300s to recover a little ' expense :-( But I regretted it...
I will get looking, I also like a lot the rendition of the old optics, I have a 70-210 of thirty years which is a show with colors and contrast (makes it well with the d300s I imagine with the CCD of the D200!!!).

Why not shooting in raw? :-P

For my mental Pippa: I focus on the post performed exclusively in the car, to highlight its color profiles. That's why I took the D200 and not the D300 or D700....

Quotas I still have the Canon FX of ' 68, I could do an MP3 and put it on the headphones while I work..... /QUOTE
I agree, then around there are color profiles for Nikon that reproduce hue and saturation of many old films and are not bad...

I tried something with the 5d1, I like a lot what simulates the Fuji 400h!

I often use the Velvia and the Kodakrome (in my gallery there should be something) and also the Kodak Gold which is one of my favorites and the one that comes closest, reminds me a lot the photos years 90 made with the disposable compactors. Now I use them often and I enjoy a lot...

This is my favorite, I find beautiful colors that you managed to get.
Very nice whole series. Good!

Thanks x the appreciation: For me it's all pure fun! And each parameter can be controlled in the smallest detail with all the calm of the world: it is the best of pleasure to be able to indulge in the extraordinary luxury of trying and try indefinitely until everything is not exactly as we want... not really a Street guy! :-D
P.S.: The laser is deadly to photograph! But you have very interesting effects....
