Beautiful scene, I like this powerful light that comes in; The disposition of the subjects is simply perfect. Very evocative scene, nice glance!

A very good story, a little nostalgic with the girl immersed in who knows what thoughts, the white background strengthens the doubt, I like.

Beautiful against light that comes to me ;-) .... white center-line.
Of grade impact . Verticality makes photography beautiful.
An environmental wealth, pigeons form a circle and the little girl, on the other hand, look at the pigeon next to her.
This is a work of art. I'm not kidding.
The b/n, for this photograph, is a godsend.
A few times I've seen a photograph like this..... Exciting.
Van Gogh said, in front of a painting, I don't know which author was "give me a piece of dry bread and I'm here a week" (more or less-......).
Here..... :-)
Wonderful, I don't have any other words.
A sincere greeting!

A great composition and I like the bright highlights! I wonder how it would look with stronger blacks and contrast.

X AnnH:
Why retouch a photograph of her slit?

@Maurizio: As you say, this is a lovely image which evokes an emotional response, as good photos do. My thought was just that - a thought. I love converting images to b/n and often process them in a variety of ways, finding each version has its own appeal. Surely you see my comment was not a negative criticism but is an indication that I have looked at this image carefully and allowed my mind to dwell upon it?

A friendly greeting

Ann :))

Annh, I totally understood what you mean. You're right about it: post-production opens a lot of possibilities.
But I'm a more 'conservative'-like guy. In my opinion, the photo is the one you take with you camera. Period.
No changes with softwares and else. Once you take it, that's it.
I'm well aware that post-production isn't something that recent (even 1800 photographers used an archaic version of it :P ), but it was something very minimal!
Why would you change the lightning of the photo, or the color warmth?
I know I'm 'old'-minded, but I honestly belive that a photo is beautiful as it is! Post-production is able to make wonders, but the base photo is what matter most (for what concerns me, obviously!)
photo is only one! That's it! :D
... maybe I'm just old :-D

Thank you, Filippo - I'm glad you like to try different versions, too!

Thank you, too, Maurizio, for taking the time to explain your thoughts more clearly. I understand - it is all good! Sorriso. As I only developed a keen interest in photography relatively late in life (about 10-12 years ago), I am firmly in the digital age and consider processing RAW images akin to processing film in the dark room. I would only very rarely consider publishing an unprocessed image. No matter - we all see things differently and all views are valid!

A good weekend to you both! Sorriso

Ann :))

Hello, I really like this street, with this little girl sitting that almost seems abandoned and distracts with pigeons that seem to want to cheer her up.

The simplicity of the little girl sitting on the ground and the simplicity of the pigeons, in front of the power of light in front of her. Exciting
