Con piacere rispondo alla tua domanda,il maschio rispetto alla femmina a colori più accesi e ha la mascherina rossa per il 95% dei casi che supera l'occhio,vi sono però alcune femmine(chiamate di linea maschile)che hanno la mascherina che assomiglia al maschio,in questo caso per chi li alleva e può prenderli in mano è sufficente aprire l'ala e controllare il colore di questa dove si attacca al corpo,se marrone è femmina ,se nera maschio.Spero di essere stato chiaro,se hai domande sui fringillidi chiedi pure visto che ho allevato quasi tutte le specie.

Assolutamente no,questo è venuto a cibarsi del girasole immaturo (ne sono molto ghiotti) nel mio orto,io annualmento lo semino per loro e per altri fringillidi tipo verdone,peppole e cincie varie. Da qualche anno non allevo più cardellini in quanto in cattività vanno incontro a molte patologie con varie perdite,inoltre,come allevatori si è un po svantaggiati perchè vi sono pochissimi veterinari aviari da poter contattare per una precisa terapia.Attualmente allevo crocieri,lucherini ancestrali e mutati e organetti ancestrali e nelle varie mutazioni,poi qualche canarino che regalo ai bambini che me ne fanno richiesta,ciao Mario
