#BiancoeNero #blackandwhite #photoart

A beautiful photograph and a post production that I really like. Among the things I like to watch when I look at a photograph, and of course the content of the frame and the expression it represents, is the growth that is taking place in the photographer author of the image. You 'can do it only when you look at the works of an author long ago and if it follows the activities. And 'the case. Because with this picture I think there is a change from the past; a novelty in the eyes: that of similarities between what surrounds us and what we feel and how we store of personal experiences. It 'a picture that in addition to reporting to the direction given by the title, it also leads the other, and for each view that, each sees to his. With reference to the title, I for example, I see that between the white and the black line of demarcationis labile. Interpenetrations, contaminations and the influences of one another are inevitable. It seems you are representing that reason, reasoning or fairness are not completely on the one hand and that therefore each evaluation inevitably entails the deepening of factors sometimes also opposite one another.
Congratulations on this beautiful work. A greeting.

Bel Bew, intense both for the choice of the composition as for the colors used; I might have dared to slightly more on one of the parties to accentuate ancorpiù except that you wanted to express in the title of the picture. One thing I do not like the frame used, it seems too wide IMHO.

@ Paul thank you very beautiful discussion and I am pleased as you have grasped the meaning of what I wanted to represent.
In reality, the image is composed by a double contrast and by a confirmation:
The first contrast, the most decided, is represented by matter, the ice on the one hand, the water on the other, against static fluidity.
The second is the color but, as you well observed, what apparently is a strong contrast is actually less harsh than expected, the line is not clear, there are nuances in common by both sides.
The confirmation comes from the river bed: the foundation on which everything rests: both parties share.
The meaning dell'immaorigin can vary depending on which contrast the observer grasps first, the ice / water or black / white. The third element lies in the background, sometimes not noticed, but it is the foundation on which everything else rests.

Moviale, Thank you very much!

@ Adolfo, thanks very much to you and let me add that your appreciation is particularly pleasing given the quality of your work I have often admired.

Enrico, Thanks you for appreciation. On the strength of contrast I wrote above (bring him back in the caption). I admit that the title leads us to consider a separation much net but could not find another way to express equally evocative synthetically an opposition.
As for the frame considers that hor posted the version that will go to print, and then, once framed, will be reduced to a few centimeters.

Michela, Thank you very much and a warm greeting to you too!

Thanks again to all.

Federico
