Ringrazio tutti per i commenti, anche se credo siano dovuti alla mia fortuna di aver trovato questo magnifico esemplare ad aspettarmi (lui c'era già).
Mi chiedo: se lascio spazio a sinistra metto il soggetto al centro, mentre a me piace rispettare la regola dei 2/3 e far capire che l'animale può conquistare lo spazio alla sua sinistra, mentre il poco collaborativo mi si è avventato contro l'obiettivo, stra-bordando dall'inquadratura e poi, mettendosi fuori fuoco, si è "appollaiato" sul tetto del capanno (sigh). Tornando alla composizione, ho provato a lasciare lo spazio a sinistra, dove volge lo sguardo l'animale, ma mi ha poco convinto e pertanto ho preferito dare aria dove volge il petto.
Penso che sia positivo muovere osservazioni per potersi confrontare e migliorare.
