Ciao a tutti.

2339; is a lot of signal. Below is your picture that I treated, which are now known rimarcate nebulae that were previously hidden. My photos of 2013, have been made with the Canon 450D without modification, using only the iOptron Star Tracker mounted on the tripod Manfrotto 055XPROB, then see how the colors are all there, even if the red nebulae are faint.

Then I would advise you to take pictures of the star with a fovale of 10-24 mm with a wide aperture to lower the Iso!

Great Beppe, that beautiful and that 'your processing ... Thank you for doing all that work! I did the alignment and combination of clicks with Deep Sky Stacker, then Lightroom ... But better than you saw her I could not ... I've been very kind. I think my car is completamante blind to radiation in the infrared, the nebulae hannonemmeno a light color. Hello and thank you ...

Luke does not give up, I always believe that you have something grossly wrong, if you have any RAW files I'd like to see it to understand if the "original sin" depends on the SLR (which I do not believe) or the settings of DSS (much more likely ) .... the rest you can also check you frame by frame ... it's a shame because you've picked a good signal ... the file that I developed that JPEG is no longer contained the original colors .. I am convinced that if the RAW files have them yet, you be able to recover all this work, I exclude a priori issues related to the lack of filter IR CUT, excuse my stubbornness: -D

Cioa Beppe do not give up completely! I like to photograph the sky and I want to improve. When I have time I will try 'to post a file, which I still have, and that actually has the original colors, hello to you soon and thanks again dear Beppe

As suggested by Beppe, it seems a problem of DSS. Cosi 'on the spot without having to hand your shots seems a problem with the white balance. Try rielaborala setting tab settings RAW / Red Fits Brightness 1.0 1.0 1.0 Blue, bilinear interpolation and removing auto white balance and inside the machine. Check sets the black point to zero.
After selecting photos, dark, flat etc etc go Align selected images. The recommended settings look what suggests avoiding "Media weighed-adaptive" and "Media Entropic" if suggested. At the bottom there should be a "If the result seems black and white" and that controls them written in green is "Use the calibration of the sky background RGB". After processing go on board and Luminance "linearizzi" the curve by setting the first paeter of each pair at 45 degrees (full scale selector). Then the Layers tab RGB / K imposed settings connected and get up one of the triangles a bit 'at a time with stops before they appear too obvious spike in early histogram. I hope it is understood and functions. Possibly check out some other parameter on the white balance type "inside the machine" and "Automatic".
