Even on the S componon that against a low price (it's also on the 60 €, used of course) have a yield enviable. I did not correct all the artifacts resulting from the overlap of the frames, through carelessness and fatigue, but mainly for failure. Hello and thanks for your visit.

Very small and very detailed and beautiful here, it is worth it! I do not know componon S, is a goal or an extension tube?

Hello, the componon S 50mm f2.8 is a magnifying lens and is also found with other focal lengths, it is inexpensive and I mounted on a bellows, overturned using various adapter rings for an attack M42. He is a recognized high quality, for those with greater financial resources is the componon apo, has a pentagonal diaphragm (at least mine) that sometimes stands out too much, d 'other hand is used to print and everything has to be in focus .
Thanks for your visit.

A curiosity, which machine you are better for this kind, the Sony NEX or Olympus 5T ...? I'd like to equip myself to try it too, just in case you can ask for information in the future ..?

Thanks for the compliments, but, apart from the technique of stacking focus, as photographers are better at you.

Thanks for the compliments Heaven 17, I rather like them and affect above all your photographs of diatoms.
One day I will endeavor myself.

For photos of diatoms with the stack you'll need a microscope, much better if the focus is driven (as on your excellent achievements roguardo horizontal and vertical stands).
A microscope with the illumination according to Kohler, with a capacitor for high numerical aperture immersion in oil, good quality objectives apo (my 1960s are experiencing difficulties with the diatoms, are formed halos full bluish magnification of images).

My photos I've done with manual focus (the microscope is a Zeiss standard 16 refurbished), but it takes a lot of patience, and the result is not always good (good up to the numerical aperture of 1 with obietivo 40x oil immersion).

When two or three years ago, I became interested (superficially) microscopy the only thing that I realized it is that the type of lighting is crucial for the result. I searched on eBay a Kohler illuminator, but the prices were high.
For now I'm happy of my empirical methods; a friend of mine has a Nikon 20x Plan Apo with which I made an semi stack of //s19.postimg.org/5mtgxc6z5/Semi_orchidea.jpg] orchid . I am an amateur and I struggle, particularly given the age, to put me to seriously study microscopy

Thanks for all the information, are now busy finishing the "setup" in construction and in the future we'll see. If I could afford it, or you had the opportunity, I'd like a Mitutoyo plan apo 50x that would allow me to stay at a certain distance from the subject. But now it's spring and I devote myself to the outputs and the pictures on the field, then 1: 1 maximum.
