La foto e stata scattata questa mattina in Valtellina.
Quando la temperatura scende sotto lo zero si bagna i frutteti in modo che si crei uno strato di ghiaccio sulle gemme e sui fiori per proteggerli dal freddo eccessivo.
Dimenticavo sono fiori di melo.

When the temperature drops below zero gets wet in the orchards so that it creates a layer of ice on the buds and flowers to protect them from the cold.
I forgot are apple blossoms.

in realtà il fiore si salva proprio grazie all'involucro di ghiaccio: quel che conta è che l'apporto di acqua sia continuo, in modo che ghiacciando rilasci continuamente il calore latente di congelamento e in questo modo la temperatura non scende ulteriormente sotto lo zero...
in reality the flower is saved thanks to the envelope of ice: what counts is that the supply of water is continuous, so that icing continuously releases the latent heat of freezing and in this way the temperature does not drop further below zero ... ;-) in realtà il fiore si salva proprio grazie all'involucro di ghiaccio: quel che conta è che l'apporto di acqua sia continuo, in modo che ghiacciando rilasci continuamente il calore latente di congelamento e in questo modo la temperatura non scende ulteriormente sotto lo zero... |
