Adoro l'Africa,i luoghi,gli animali il lento scorrere della vita......Però si sa,non è tutto oro ciò che luccica e,pensando agli animali,scene come questa mi lasciano sempre un po di amaro in bocca.E' vero,è la natura che svolge il proprio corso,ma a me comunque fa sempre male assistere ad una predazione.Egoisticamente parlando,almeno per me,mi fa meno tenerezza vedere uno gnù o una zebra che vengono predate rispetto a questo babbuino che preda e consuma un bellissimo bushbaby.Era mezzogiorno in punto e noi,con l'auto,sostavamo sotto ad una grossa acacia.Ad un certo punto il silenzio si rompe di colpo tra i versi del babbuino ed un "mugolare" che di solito avvertivo dopo il tramonto,quello del bushbaby.Il babbuino abbracciava una pianta e con una zampa ravanava in un buco.In pochi secondi ha estratto dalla cavità il malcapitato e dopo averlo battuto con forza su un tronco lo ha consumato davanti a noi.Posto la foto allo scopo di documentare la scena.Mi scuso anticipatamente con chi dovesse rimanere "disturbato" dalla visione di queste immagini.
