Foto da antologia ove sei riuscito a fare un incredibile ritratto al sub (splendida la "nuvoletta" di bollicine) riuscendo anche a cogliere le delicate sfumature di colore del corallo e buone ombre, il tutto con una macchina analogica (seppur scafandrata...).

Carissimo Claudio desidero darti alcune informazioni su quell'epoca lontana (fine anni 80 primi 90) che oggi definirei pionieristica della fotografia subacquea, in cui fotografare era molto costoso, come ora del resto, ma soprattutto e mi riferisco in particolare a questo genere fotografico richiedeva grande abilità non tanto per la fotografia (perdonami se me lo concedo) ma nell'attitudine in immersione sia del fotografo che della modella.
La macchina era una nikonos, ho avuto sia la 3 che la 5,questa ultima aveva una parte di elettronica che non usavo. L'obiettivo era una nikon 15; mm macchina ed obiettivo NON erano scafandrati ma già idonei per l'immersione.
Si usava un esposimetro esterno così come il mirino, impossibile leggere quelli della camera con la maschera sul volto.
Il flash si usava a mano libera per posizionarlo molto lontano dal corpo macchina e molto angolato per evitare di fare riflessioni sul plancton o altri corpuscoli. Il diaframma era preimpostato a seconda dell'ambiente il tempo di regola 1/30.
La difficoltà consisteva nello stare immobili sott'acqua, dirigere la modella che come vedi usa attrezzature OCEANIC di cui sono stato per alcuni anni il fotografo ufficiale, ed avvicinare al primo piano il flash per far emergere i colori. L'esposizione era sulla luce ambiente.
Queste foto venivano poi pubblicate sulle riviste del settore a secondo degli accordi che avevano con OCEANIC. A me venivano pagate foto ed articoli, l'azienda mi forniva solo le attrezzature.
Ti devo dire che ho avuto un mio momento di buona notorietà nell'ambiente subacqueo in funzione di questi scatti e della mia scuola di immersioni.
Oggi con le moderne attrezzature, i grandangoli più spinti si fanno cose straordinarie, la mia esperienza è sorpassata e la custodisco gelosamente e con grande orgoglio nel mio cassetto dei ricordi.
