Hello Merak, I read carefully your request for "help", I can propose a version in b.n. that I tried and personally I like. But... my advice as a friend, after reading the beautiful words you wrote about your parents is to go straight for your choice, you know where the memory and the heart takes you and no one can start discussing your choice.
Best regards, Loris

Dear Loris and Vale, thank you very much for your steps; yes, in the end this image is the one that best reflects the memory of my parents and I like it this way, even with some obvious flaws: I would prefer austerity and cleaning of Jewish cemeteries where there are no images or passport photos of the last identity card on the tombstones; just the name, dates and a few words.

Dear Giancarlo,
I read with real pleasure the caption that accompanies your photo. In my opinion the memory you have of them is the most beautiful photograph, only those who have given us so much remains indelible in our minds. This convulsive and frenetic society leaves us little time to devote to the past because we have become accustomed to living with the head and not with the heart.
I thank you for your dwelling on these aspects has also served me a lot but I am also thinking of many others.
A warm hug.
Eraldo.

Dear Eraldo, I am very pleased that you have dwelt on this image of mine and on my long accompanying note; I thank you for your beautiful words illuminated by the truth of the heart; hello, I embrace you too, giancarlo

the photo of your parents moved me, it is an emotional and very personal photo so only you have to decide what you feel the most, I personally would not put in the flowers or the children, but I repeat it is only
myobellisissima taste the story of your
parentsciao Serena

fixed looks beyond

your participation in the photo together with yours, being part of their history, and here there is no canon of beauty, in my opinion, there is only your relationship with yours, which is only yours.
what I see clearly is your vital experience of belonging.
Thank you!
simon

I find it perfect and then your feelings are not discussed, if it suits you it must be good for everyone

Thank you very much Simone and Alberto for your words: yes Simone: belonging is the mystery of the human soul, an inner terrain whose continuous excavation at times sheds some light on the senses of things and on who we are: "Notre vie est un voyage dans l'hiver et dans la nuit nous cherchons notre passage dans le ciel ou rien ne luit."

I have not read celine and therefore I do not know it ....
however, this phrase detached from its context, seems to me a bit gloomy, hopeless, where in the sky there is no remote light.
what you witness and reiterate, instead, explains that belonging is a key that allows us to see the beautiful, the true and the ultimate meaning of things: finally, ... a great beautiful light!
Hello!
simon
