(IMHO) ;-)
Ciao, Francesco

Really a nice shot, I might have widened a little frame, but it is only my personal opinion, of course this is also a good result ... (IMHO);-)

Hi Bal, thank you. Always shot in the gorges of Sagittarius, near Scanno. At certain times the water is blue

A photograph in some ways masterful given the excellent management of the problems related to the exposure on white, excellent also the composition, clearly, some doubts arouses in me the choice to cut the top of the frozen bush to be able to include in the scene that fragment of river, present at the bottom left of the frame, which personally I would have excluded.
Oly the latter is a very personal interpretation of mine, on the field the operational difficulties combined with a different view of the scene have nevertheless given rise to an image with a strong character connotation.
Sypary,
Paolo.

Thank you Paul. You are absolutely right; in these conditions, when you have trouble getting back, it would take a zoom. But the 6X7s do not allow certain operational flexibility and in catalog the Mamiya 7 has no zoom. The target, not present on Juza, is a 65mm f/4. The film a Velvia 100 o, given the cold intonation (very thick in that throat (the water is often just blue) a Provia 100F: But you're right in everything

Hello Claudio,
I do not know the 65/4 but from what I see must be a Mr objective, among other things the choice of the focal, equivalent to a 35 mm on the Leica format, I find myself in perfect agreement since for me the landscape does not recover with focal points below 35 mm, 28 mm... but just like extreme ratio.
For the film I would instead propose for the Provia 100F rather than for the Velvia 100F because the blue dominant present in this photo (inevitable given the classic situation of "discovered shadow") is very neutral while instead, if the film had been a 100/100F Velvia, the blue of the water would have been turned on the purple due to the typical red dominant of this film.
