When the snow cover looks like a sea that covers everything. Great picture.
Greetings and best wishes for the holidays to you and family

A lot of nostalgia for hiking in the increasingly rare snow. Magnificent place with those hooded boulders, they look like little gnomes. Good quality in spite of megapixels. Happy Holidays Bepi, spend them in serenity with whoever you want.
bye gios ;-)

What a beautiful landscape you have captured.
Reading the caption, this is from the series that it doesn't matter what you shoot with, but how you do it.
If I didn't do it with the previous one, a sincere hug for the upcoming holidays,
Massimo.

Those Fuji cameras were a great series for the time, my first serious digital was of that batch there, a still working s7000 (which I gave to my brother, bought Feb 2003 or 2004 I don't remember). Great colors, great contrast, it is the only one that in the period also produced interpolated photos at 12 mpx. Sure, seeing them now at 100% on monitors, there's a plethora of noise and small artifacts like blocks of "distorted" and shiny pixels, but seeing at 100% on monitors is always half a mistake, and then when you print you realize that the product is still up to par.
Nice shot, in August then, all that snow, but it's hard to find it even in winter here...
