Questi Masai provenienti dalla Tanzania, durante il periodo di apertura del Resort lavorano come guardie in spiaggia, per cui a contatto coi turisti, sono più moderni, nel senso che portano gli occhiali da sole, magari regalati, ciabatte di plastica, ma quello che ho trovato più strano è, che avevano le treccine posticce. Quando il Resort chiude, tornano nei loro villaggi in Tanzania. Secondo me è un modo per dar loro un'occupazione e per noi turisti è più piacevole vedere una figura come la loro, armata di bastone, piuttosto che vedere degli uomini in divisa militaresca con la pistola.
