A stampa eseguita i fogli vengono prelevati automaticamente e impilati uno sopra l'altro, pronti per essere asportati. L'operatore, attraverso vari comandi, ne regola la velocità e l'intensità di pressione. Le Heidelberg sono in grado anche di eseguire lavori di cordonatura, fustellatura, taglio, perforazione e molto altro ancora. Notizie storiche: Si può considerare l'evoluzione elettrica della "platina". Viene costruita dalla fabbrica tedesca Heidelberg, la più rinomata nel mondo, che fino al 1970 ne produce oltre settecentomila esemplari.
