sono contenta di averti portato, seppur virtualmente, in questi luoghi.
" è uno dei sogni della mia vita, ma, come sai, quasi mai i sogni si avverano"
...appunto, QUASI mai! Io ti auguro di cuore di poter fare il mio stesso viaggio; come me se non più di me, vista la tua professione, rimarresti immagato dalle vestigia che ancora si possono ammirare.
Ciò che lascia stupefatti è anche avere la conferma che ad oggi, ciò che è stato scavato e identificato, è solo una piccolissima parte di ciò che ancora c'è da riportare alla luce.
In quasi tutti i siti ci sono archeologi al lavoro e, come immagini, ogni occasione per me era propizia per sbirciare sotto tendoni, impalcature ecc. e l'istinto era quello di prendere in mano una cazzuola e chiedere "Posso aiutare?"
Alla fine mi sono accontentata di raccogliere cammin facendo qualche coccio da terra....

I'm glad I brought you, thoughvirtually, in these places.
“ is one of the dreams of my life, but, as you know, almost never dreams come true „
... In fact, almost never! I will sincerely hope to be able to make the same trip, as I do if not more than me, given your profession, you'd be immagato the vestiges that still can be admired.
What amazes is also confirm that to date, what has been excavated and identified, it is only a very small part of what is yet to be excavated.
In almost all the sites there are archaeologists at work and, like pictures, every occasion was propitious for me to peek under tents, scaffolding etc.. and the instinct was to pick up a trowel and ask "Can I help?" :-D
You know what I mean ;-)
