Questo e' uno scatto che,per come la penso io, si puo' definire ''naturalistico'' proprio perche' naturale, spontaneo,imprevedibile e senza l'uso di esche...

Fotografare un nibbio è un evento, fotografarlo mentre pesca è un evento eccezionale, fotografarlo bene è da maestro.

Ciao Dex, è un fatto assolutamente normale che i nibbi bruni si nutrano di pesci.
Loro battono i fiumi (come nel tuo caso) planando bassissimi e risalendo la corrente alla ricerca di quelli morti o anche vivi e tuffandosi in acrobatiche picchiate.
Questo non succede al nibbio reale che é molto meno frequentatore di fiumi e laghi anche se .....pure lui si destreggia (occasionalmente) in qualche episodio di pesca su prede morte.
Venendo alla foto é bellissima ed anch'io sono stato appostato per giorni nel territorio di pesca di un nibbio bruno senza riuscire a farla perché il poverino solo un paio di volte s'é lanciato ma non ho avuto la giusta prontezza.

Hello Dex, is a completely normal for black kites feed on fish.
They beat the rivers (as in your case) and very low glide upriver in search of those dead or even live in acrobatic dives and diving.
This does not happen to Red Kite, which is much less frequent in rivers and lakes as well ..... even though he juggles (occasionally) in a few episodes of fishing on dead prey.
Coming to the picture is beautiful and I too have been lurking for days fishing in the territory of a black kite without being able to do it because only the poor hath been launched a couple of times but I did not have the right readiness.
