, 1/250 ISO 400, hand held.

I also like you, I got acquainted with macro photos via the "reverse lens", with all its problems, but very cheap.
I wanted to report an online store that sells adapter rings to mount lenses on the other hand at a cost of no more than 15 euro!
Reverse Rings are called, my I got them in 3 days and I 'arrived home safely.
Taking advantage of very large focal get the maximum magnification of an image or get more 'Garande with a 17mm lens with a 50mm that, and then evaluates the diameter of the thread according to the park lenses you have.
Clearly, as you open yourself up, you and 'the total loss of depth' field but you can 'work by making a series of shots using the Focus Stacking and a healthy dose of Photoshop.
Congratulations anyway for photos, very beautiful and spectacular colors.
Greetings.

Hello Marcello thank you very much you are very kind ;-) I took recently of extension tubes without automation, and more or less the result is similar. But tell me something, how do a focus stacking if I do not have control over the aperture?

Enny Hello, I too have used extension tubes without automatic but I prefer the ring conversine as I mount optics more 'heavy and it seems that everything is more' stable, in contrast with the pipes and there 'a small drop in slow down due to the weight just with the pipes ..... definitely dedicated the Canon is not a problem but cost quite a bit 'more' and still give you all the automatic, so maybe they are still a good alternative to expensive macro lenses.
However, your question and ': "how do a focus stacking if I do not have control over aperture?" Simply working in manual and look for the optimal exposure for the light, with regard to the depth' of field, which 'the thing that interests you more' and unfortunately there 'a chance' to change the iris and the lens works with an open mind so everything is blurred except the piccola area you focus.
To get a larger portion of a fire have to do a focus stacking or create a series of photos with portions of the subject in focus in different parts in order to create a collage of images that once stacked they will give you everything in focus.
Sometimes you have to take about fifty pictures, and then 'a recommended working with stationary subjects.
The section of the forum: MACRO, there are a lot of people who use this technique with amazing results and maybe they know more 'than me.
The amazing thing and 'who use it with live insects .... then my hat.
Hope that helps.
Good photos.

Hello Marcello, the problem is that I focus back and forth with the camera or the subject or move a bit 'farther or a little' closer to the goal. As I move around, I see it hard to do what you say .. anyway thank you again ;-)

It's actually 'a lot of work, but it depends on how much and' large portion you want in focus.
I figured, about which I cover with a shot 1/2 inch of fire, about, then an object of such size 1cm will have 'necessarily need 20 shots where you will always vary a little' focus, unequivocally if the subject 'more' big you will also change its position with respect to the objective as rotating the focus ring can not more 'to cover the size and thus you have to do more' shots ....... and ' a big job.
And 'in fact that's why they invented macro lenses or extension tubes with passing data.
:-D
Good work!

The saturated tones of colors enrich the composition.

Nice clip ... as already mentioned above the noise you can safely remove with a little 'of PP, which would make the picture even more interesting for the rest ;-) compliments is never easy to use the technique of reverse lens. ;-)
