"Er Mejo der Colosseum"! .... sent on April 27, 2020 (22:57) by Rodema. 66 comments, 1201 views. [retina]

hand held.

--- (Rod)

I think I have a few thousand, ordered and catalogued in their containers ...
I also have a Nikon scanner dedicated to the ...
In this juncture, there would be no time left ...
The only thing I can't find is the craving! 8-)
I fully share your writing Rod!

Bella Rod, you were right to restore the old Dia. I did it myself, but in the light of current knowledge and technology, it would be almost to be redone. Meanwhile the old (you say) converter does not work with Win 10. Hello

A beautiful memory Rod, beautiful times; Congratulations.
I used mainly the legendary Kodachrome film alternating with Kodak's Ektachrome.
We say that films per dia have remained in vogue for thirty years, from the 1970s to the early 2000s.
Hello, Sergio ;-) :-P

Dear Rod, for me and not only for me, the film and then the slide, represented the real photography. Everything happened during the shoot and if you did not know the theory you hardly brought home a good image.
Nostalgia.... Great image of the analog Colosseum, congratulations!

... how many memories and how much nostalgia,
Of this world that burns quickly what was yesterday true
From the right It will not be true tomorrow
so sang Lucio Dalla in 1980 in "Dancing Dancer", everything changes and sometimes passes too quickly.
Thank you very much for the very welcome comments and for appreciating.
A dear greeting, Rod ;-)

A nice selfie from a few years ago, when they called self-portraits or, as in this case, actually portraits set ! A beautiful memory!
I have hundreds of DIA since 1970 (I have a few years more than you !) and a scanner that ... it drives me crazy!
A disaster and so the DIA remain in their boxes.
Rodfills and for the photo and for the "good look"!
good evening! Hello!

Massimo, I was really pleased to read your very welcome comment, now there are discrete converters not even too expensive and easy to use.
I thank you very much for appreciating the "pictured portrait" and for the compliment to the "main subject".
A warm greeting and good first May ... even if it is homemade and in the name of social isolation.

"It was the year of the World Cup, the year of '86" ... beautiful and imposing the Colosseum. A beautiful slide that you show today and where you can say... I'm there too. Greetings and congratulations.
