, 1/200 f/3.5, ISO 50, hand held. Roma, Italy.

The harmony of thought is not quite 100 % ... :-D, but man has in any case a great intellectual depth. Congratulations Peppe, really a great reportage. :-) .
P.S. Too bad you took it with the L and not with the 2.8 ;-).

One of the great merits of the portrayed genre is the ability to convey as well as physical identity all the words that that face has written, all the words that that face said.
Everything that an individual is, as well as materially, something that with the passage of time inevitably declines and then loses, also its essence, its thought, its spirit, that thing that when there is never lost but is strengthened and transformed, is transmitted to others by overcoming the barriers of time.

Thank you very much Patrick
you have a great ability to verbalize what others (like me) can only grasp with the camera.
I thank you again for the time you often devote to my things, I'm not good at doing the same.

I think it's photography that calls the words.
To form them and then stop them, as happens in a glance before taking the image that strikes us.
It is important to me that an impression, a thought, can stand next to that photograph that has been able to arouse it.

Exactly, that's the purpose but sometimes the right words don't come and then you rely only on the image hoping that the observer will grasp what you have caught, or rather hoping to have been able to convey that emotion.

I believe, Peppe, that this always happens when photography is valid, if what it shows is a content, even when we are not able to perceive it, especially on a photographic platform.
I never considered silences in a photograph a metre of his failure.
As, on the contrary, the repeated enthusiastic and very short acclaim, one meter of its value.

A wonderful face that expresses its interiority... I would have seen a narrower field well, but probably your choice is motivated!!
