Beautiful picture, I am a newbie :)
But there is the possibility to track the telescope without having to attach the computer to the frame? interests?
It would be great to organize an exit of Deepsky Masters with you: D

RI-GRAZIE a Juna e stavolta per l'Editor's pick! :-P :-P

Vedi foto:

RI-THANKS to Juna and this time for the Editor's Pick! :-P:-P

I find it spectacular! perhaps the reds are slightly oversaturated but it is probably only envy mrgreen
But you were to Nivolet? or cheaper?

Thanks Julian! The red "fired" are a feature of many nebulae that emit predominantly monochromatic wavelength at 656.3 nm (red on the border with IR). E 'due to hydrogen and is called H-alpha emission.

I was placed on the road over the refuge Savoy. See pictures:

Grazie anche a Ivan.pirina, Gtabbi, Momo, Vetrofragile !!!

@Vetrofragile:

Thanks also to Ivan.pirina, Gtabbi, Momo, Vetrofragile!

@ Vetrofragile:
But it is possible to track the telescope without having to attach the computer to the frame? interests?

Of course! All frames chase without need for PC. Different if you want to autoguiding, then where many rooms require driving pc (but not all). The PC is convenient for many other functions, and we would use in the field.

It would be great to organize an exit of Deepsky Masters with you: D

Do not go overboard with the "master"! :-| :-| :-)
More than welcome if you want to come and watch. Understand when it is easy: look at the calendar and look for weekend of New Moon and maybe contact quchanels day before.

Beautiful Lorenzo, and congratulations for the well deserved recognition ;-)

Use a little bit modified and 60d cooled and focal 6/700mm to find the unsurpassed :-)

Grazie ancora a tutti per aver commentato! :-P

Thanks again to everyone for commenting! :-P

@ Franco: think that was the first time I had this subject. Although weak in the foothills outside for my "standard" was not bright enough, not LBN or other amenities which are not seen even to die in a single shot from 10 min ... :-D

@ Elio: of focal "medium-short", ie less than one meter, I think the 60D is very good. However serve to provide perfect optical star so small. Personally I feel more comfortable with fewer pixels, 12 Mpix like the 5D. Even with this online usually put at 50%.

complimenti!

Beautiful and one of the subjects that I prefer more.
If I can afford a single board. In the processing
the color of the stars, I think you have used a process
a layer separating the stars to bring out the color differences.
Typically you do it with a blur over which smoothes the color and then
using the same layer in various ways including the "screen".
I think the halos that can be seen around the brightest stars
may be resized, making buying more
puntiformità also to them.
Sorry if I have gone, the problem is not 'as big as
the words that I have spent, and indeed .... 'a detail compared to the beauty
the photo. But I wanted to know what you think.

congratulations!

(I also spoke shortly after your post, but I forgot to ask :)

A presto!

Thanks Franco for the comments!
The stellar colors have certainly been enhanced in the design, however I think you see halos on bright stars are not due to this processing, but rather heavy optics and the exaltation of the nebulae weak, which required several steps of curves very ... curves! Inevitably this leads to the appearance of the stellar halos. I tried to reduce them, but not much you can do, otherwise the visibility of artifacts. It 'a normal phenomenon and is also seen in many images at the edge of the big overseas.

See you soon!

Very nice this one.
Aside from the beauty of the image and colors, I like the photo and the stars, all perfectly round even at the edges ..... a great photo!
