Maybe with a little more saturation ', but for the atmosphere you've described I have no doubt the first! ;-)

thank you so much to everyone for expressing their views.
I see that the first version, it has a why and it was appreciated.
I do not like, too much of these types of calculations, if ever I was interested that much in studying the antique effect ... I think that even at the time of the dark room, doing take a bit of light at the paper, it could get, (I've never tried it) with the digital estrememente it has become easier and more affordable for everyone, and the infinite potential with many variations on the theme that there are disposizione.ho just wanted to try and I have to say that the result I'm really sorry.

thanks again
a greeting
Simone

Point your stick forward to avoid falling under the weight of years and other burdens, probably. You have created the right atmosphere with the slightly saturated colors and low light. I love it.

I never thought of having to comment on a photo of the Commissioner in tear-shoting version;-), however, the experiment seems successful 8-) I also would have opted for the black and white and then in the second case I prefer the first, for the rest of the composition is great and I do not know why they are also attracted by the shadow that follows the lady into her destiny ..
A single note, but how does it not bother you that thread that stands out in the sky! I see it just me? :-D;-):-D:-D:-D:-D

Ps the line of force running along the path you've drawn you before you take a picture? :-D

It 'a beautiful shot both photographic narrative.
The first version you posted is in my opinion better, exudes a pathos that the second does not.
congratulations

albeit curious to see the effect bn, and not totally convinced of the effect type you choose, I prefer the first version of "sour" the classic ipernitido but a little cold snap. ;-)

Good job!

Joseph, Claudio, Arconudo (which pleased resent), Max
Thank you for your contributions ... for me very important to find out if my shots say something;-)

Claudio
but how does it not bother you that thread that stands out in the sky! I see it just me?

you have no idea what it was all about the long side of the sky, I had cloned a wire and a pole, I was undecided whether to clone that too, but then I'd have to clone even what went down and then then the palo..perchè that line the road that bisects the lady did not clone? and the signs of the wheels of off-road then? I know that nothing remained of the original raw:-D:-D:-D ..comunque I agree with you if there was it would meglio..ma is part of the rural environment of the place and I decided to at least onelasciarlo.provo to see what comes out by removing all pastrocchiare without too much costs nothing;-)

greetings to all
Simone

I also like the first. The old lady through time with his step now uncertain leaning on his stick in a picture become "timeless". I think that if you bet on the expressive value, the first win in the vote. Regards, Frank

I think this is a great image for the choice of composition that is able to convey the feelings that !! The post is a choice, I prefer the second version because it expresses better the realities of today and of the past years (In the other it seems that we are in the 70's) !! Hello, Dino

Dear Commissioner, I am with you ... I agree fully with the views expressed by Dino, and I agree with all the well-deserved compliments already received ....
the old lady is bent under the weight of years and great effort, supported only by his faithful stick that accompanies it in its path ... but in this I also read a great inner strength that, despite all the difficulties, makes them proudly continue the path that destiny has assigned to your image ... This is really a great life story.
