Il Pelmo è una delle montagne più caratteristiche delle Dolomiti,
rimasta vergine, in quanto non ci sono impianti di risalita.
Dalla gente del posto viene soprannominato "El caregon del Signor",
tradotto "Il trono di Dio" per via della sua forma.
