Beautiful subjects and beautiful photos, and then this lens is really impressive, it would make me photograph at wide aperture too (which I generally avoid and don't like: unless I isolate a subject, I want everything in focus).

True Claudio, and I wonder how it should be combined with the Iso of recent machines. However, it is difficult to focus on groups of people with this lens, even at f8 it always detaches, it must be a design choice

Well I think that such a lens requires type f 22 to focus everything :-) (not recommended because of soft diffraction, unless a situation really requires them).
I have a similar problem with a lens that is otherwise really extraordinary, the Sony 24-105 f4 G OSS... despite being f4, it has a very tricky depth of field, I find myself with blurry things (which I wouldn't want so) even at f8! It seems strange to me, I have another 24-105 f4 (Sigma) for Nikon, and that one does not manifest this behavior (oh... they are both Full Frame and very similar, although on different systems, shouldn't they behave the same?? Boh).

Just think that it only reaches f16, starting from 1.2 but the stops are probably the same. I'm not surprised by what you say about the 24-105, the designers jump through hoops to get more and more sharpness, and compromise on what you don't notice at first glance. I read that the new Rf 85 1.2, if it was not corrected in the camera, would exhibit a macroscopic distortion

I like it but I would also have closed the diaphragm a little more to enhance the smile of the other two beautiful girls.

Thank you Mario, you're right, I shot on the fly in Program. But that lens, even when closed, is not very suitable for photographing groups
