La Strada del Vecchio Trenino è un percorso ciclopedonale di 12 chilometri che da Asiago corre fino alla località di Campiello, lungo il tracciato dell'ex ferrovia a cremagliera Rocchette-Asiago. Fu opera di ingegneria notevolissima, ideata con lungimiranza già a metà ottocento, ma realizzata nei primi anni del novecento, nel 1909, e rimasta in esercizio fino alla fine degli anni cinquanta. Gli abitanti avevano soprannominato questo trenino "La vaca mora" (la mucca bruna) e ancora oggi ci sono manifestazioni che rirendono questo denominazione. Dopo la dismissione del treno, la tratta sull'altopiano è stata recuperata e trasformata in un bel percorso cicloturistico, con frequenti panchine e aree di sosta. E' un percorso che si alterna tra prati e bosco restando sempre ai margini dei paesi e lontano dalle strade trafficate.. Nel tratto tra Asiago e Canove di Roana il percorso è sempre molto frequentato da gente a passeggio, anche con bimbi in carrozzina Le pendenze sono sempre molto moderate da 'ferrovia', in questo tratto senza cremagliera. A Canove, proprio nel piazzale della stazione e nella stazioncina stessa, vi è un piccolo museo. All'esterno, oltre a mezzi militari della grande guerra, si trova una bellissima locomotiva a vapore che, pur non essendo della tipologia a cremagliera come quelle che hanno sbuffato per questa linea, rende l'idea della tecnologia a vapore. #GiochiDiLuce #Sentieri #Altopiano

Avrei fatto la foto solo al bosco eliminando completamente la strada che turba l'ambiente magari inclinando sulla sinistra leggermente per non perdere il riflesso a terra.Questione di vista e di gusto.

Ciao Denis, come avrai visto dalla spiegazione questa è la strada del trenino e io volevo mostrare proprio come la strada è ben tenuta è percorribile per chi vuole fare questa passeggiata da Campiello ad Asiago che per me è una delle principali attrattive dell'Altopiano.
