Hello Stephen, if you can remove that green around some bright star becomes unassailable.... ;-)

Thank you friends!
Hello Stephen, if you can remove that green around some bright star becomes unassailable

I can definitely turn the cyan of the reflection of the stars to the blue
I preferred to leave it of the dominant that came out of normal fusion in RGB, at the end of the day it is a reflection
I can not instead eliminate the circular halo, working with opticals so open Is I think

Just give a pass of HLVG you don't have to do anything else, the reflection you could also attenuate with Photoshop using a lazzo with a tolerance of 40/45 pixels

Si HLVG I use it too and it works very well.

Beautiful! But the 30 hours it took me to worry, why so much? Signal there is to iosa, but if I think about the only 72 minutes that I put with the old D200 I remain a little puzzled ...However the result you got is of great level and I can only give you my compliments ;-) By the way, I do not see the green around the stars, maybe just a slight chromaticism that is not annoying...

Ah, I don't know Renzo. You'll have a super black sky :-D
As I've written several poses are discarded there will be 15-20 hours added.
The fact remains that although the nebulosity around the stars is clearly visible on a single 5-minute subframe the soft parts at the top and sides of the image are non-existent in a single pose and it is difficult to see them in 3-4 hours in my images
I have seen photos taken by the Teide which is far better than where I shoot, but they are also made those with more than 10 hours added up (always to ccD cooled)
The image of friend Marco Lorenzi who took a well-deserved APOD is made with 12 Hours of laying and anyway portrays only the internal parts of the ne bulosa because it's a tight field

I don't know what to say, the site from which I filmed is at c.a. 600m altitude and is located in Chianti in c.a. halfway between
Firenze and Siena, the sky is discreet but nothing comparable to Mount Lab, the CLS filter does its duty but not miracles, in the single frame you see just the hint of the nebulosity around the main stars, so I think a lot of merit goes to PixInsight and the number of poses (24 from 180s to 1600 iso) and then, of course, to the work of a certainsein in Ps CC (c.a. 4 hours :-( ). The result I think you saw, you also commented.... :-) it is an intermediate field between yours and that of Marco Lorenzi.
