Per dettaglio mi riferivo alla impossibilità di distinguere nessun filo d'erba, cosa invece riscontrabile usando lenti più adatte al paesaggio e maggior qualità ai bordi oppure stativi più adatti alle condizioni di vento oppure filtri di miglior qualità oppure non saprei, le mie sono solo supposizioni perchè ribadisco che una foto così io non l'ho mai fatta.
Per post produzione intendo ovviamente l'eccessiva saturazione che è prettamente evidente oltre l'inimmaginabile saturazione naturale.
Per ciò che riguarda l'acqua ne facevo un semplice discorso compositivo, anche se personalmente mi riesce impossibile da credere che una cascata di 40metri (?) sia stata spostata uniformemente creando una linea perfettamente dritta ma non perpendicolare in un esposizione di due minuti, una o più folate di vento avrebbero certamente avuto un effetto marginale sulla traiettoria cosa che si riscontra dall'apertura a destra del cono di caduta.
Ti ringrazio della disponibilità al confronto e gradirei non essere giudicato male se voglio intendere quali sono i requisiti per fare una foto degna di un riconoscimento quando nelle tue gallerie ci sono ben altri capolavori.

Non si può avere la botte piena e la moglie ubriaca; in sintesi, con la lunga esposizione ho un bell'effetto sul cielo, un effetto gradevole(o meno) sul mare, però perdo dettaglio in tutte quelle zone che sono affette da mosso dovuto al vento. Avrei dovuto fare un'esposizione ad hoc per l'erba, cosa che non mi è mai venuta in mente però sicuramente fattibile. La non nitidezza, di conseguenza, non è dovuta alla lente (in questo caso il 24-70 f2.8 L canon) o al filtro che è di buona fattura (Hoya). Non è tantomeno dovuto al treppiede, visto che il resto della foto non ha questo problema. In ogni caso, anche li, il treppiede è un Manfrotto 055 Xprob, difficilmente trovi qualcosa di più massiccio :)
Riguardo l'acqua, prima di tutto il vento è qualcosa di costante in quelle zone. Quando ho scattato, che è anche poi quando ho fatto la foto al puffin presente nella mia galleria, tirava un vento sui 30/40 km/h con folate da 60 km/h. Riguardo la saturazione, non mi sembra cosi eccessiva da dire inimmaginabile. La domanda che mi sorge è: guardi le foto da un monitor calibrato? Io ho saturato uniformemente tutta la foto e risaltano in maniera particolare i verdi, che sono qualcosa si di inimmaginabile...quasi fosforescenti. In alcune zone si notava la differenza tra i verdi dei campi coltivati e quelli naturali...secondo me li dipingono a mano
Per finire un mio consiglio spassionato: non prendere la fotografia come la ricerca della perfezione, dei colori veri, della nitidezza super al top. La fotografia, a mio modo di vedere, è trasmettere le stesse emozioni che provi quando scatti. Le stesse emozioni del luogo dove scatti. Certo nitidezza, colori e quant'altro ci devono essere, ma senza ridurre la foto solo a quelli.
