Thank you very much Simon, I missed for a good two days :-|

1:1 with the advice on Falzarego I'm wrong, here was really easy

nothing to say, I would say perfect. 3mm less than my 17 and the handle makes the difference!

Excellent performance of tones "night" .. finally a shot of the night that did not seem to day ;-)
For the star moves slightly to the right, it is probably the "coma" at the edges of the lens .. happens to me with the Samyang 14 .. 15 sec .. even with the extreme edges of the stars are not point-like ..
Congratulations,
All the best,
Joseph

Dino thanks for the visit, just for a little snow:-D

Joseph
thanks for the compliment very welcome, and for directions on the stars, I have to inform me well in the "coma" already Hilary (Ilmore52) had shown it to me ..

a greeting, simone

evvaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
finally a picture of that does not convince me:-D:-D:-D
jokes aside I swear (and I know because I know) but I prefer to emphasize that it is not because I've written a mega criticism to my last picture, but because I really convinces little cutting and the sense of this photo.
the photo itself is done well as your usual, but this time the whole of the first part of the third'm useless and I look away from that beautiful sky.
Among other things, seems made with the clouds that depart from the center point of the mountain .... they are wonderful!

What about cutting a very 16:9 pano removing the entire lower section that (in my opinion) just hits and does not bring added value to the photo?
Take it with pliers, you know I'm a great blowjob in the compositions:-D:-D

I'm allowed to show you what I mean ...
now I smentirai immediately, but I wanted to tell my in a straightforward manner, on one of your few, if any pictures that does not convince me at full
you will notice how it almost seems an angel with outstretched wings, make me crazy!

On the "coma", and I remembered I found Lenstip, the only site that also measure this distortion.
On what I have already said, I just wanted to add that this defect by closing the aperture decreases (thus more a lens is brighter and is affected).
www.lenstip.com/295.7-Lens_review-Nikon_Nikkor_AF-S_14-24_mm_f_2.8G_ED
The test repeats 14-24 as well as in this is very good!

Out of curiosity (please no wars part!) And to better understand what is and combines the "coma", look at the testing of a lens superluminosa made and used for pictures in low light and night as the Canon 24mm . f: 1.4 L II USM which also costs about the same as theOur 14-24mm. wow! wow!

Hilary thanks you have been very useful, I have an innate laziness to seek testing or technical or scientific explanations, so I've saved the lavoro.sei was very useful, I really think that this is in a coma at this point, but I also do a check with shorter times such as 10 seconds, the coma, and then the elongation of the star should not change because it depends only on the lens or mistake.

I really like the beautiful cloud in motion that creates almost an explosion and the shock wave is passing you right over my head .... wow!
If ... the sky was completely starry would have been almost a picture .... "boring" .....! I speak a little 'jealous! ...
I wish I could make it ... so boring pictures:-D:-D:-D
Complimentissimi Simone for these thy works ... starry Chef!

Gianluca ... Gianluca Gianluca ..
shame on you, what do you combine:-D
I invited my wife to a romantic evening on the Giau, dinner by candlelight, I turned on the lights dim and warm shelters, I politely asked the director if I opened up a little to the sky and you see a few stars on the most beautiful What do you do .. :-( I turn off the lights and also with her the whole atmosphere I had created :-(

all part of the first third I find it useless and I look away from that beautiful sky
.
for as I've seen the sky is only a contorno.è as the title says, the curtain that you are going to chiudere.questo for me the real star of the picture
@ Diego
"What I think is distinguished from the other photos in the same conditionsis the pink snow "
I'm glad you have remarked this photo because I believe rebuilt a dozen times because I really wanted to come up with that color .. imagine that the original file, I was shot in blue throughout the frame as is natural in these conditions luce.la area under the ra Gusela was to be the focal point of the image I was more than convinced

composition'm glad you enjoyed the diagonals of the clouds, to me they look like wings, just that I wanted to leave this angel I even feet ... we believe if I tell you that I have researched the two triangles given by the upper clouds and the lower one given by the two shelters and the street?, if known and are mirrored centerpiece Gusela the ra ...

however, as always, I really appreciate thel your interest to my photos even if you are not convinced, this time I'm afraid I can not agree with you. ;-)

a warm greeting

ps
I swear jokes aside (and you know why I know) but I prefer to emphasize that it is not because I've written a mega criticism to my last picture

not even say it as a joke, I know

I accept your explanation ... Unfortunately the artificial lights in the mountains I do not like, I prefer the landscapes without human footprint, but if your intention was to put them, so that's great!
