Beccamoschino (Cisticola juncidis) al nido. Il titolo richiede qualche cenno di chiarificazione. Anni fa, seguendo i frenetici movimenti della coppia, individuo un nido di beccamoschini ben nascosto fra le erbe di un seminativo. Di lì a pochi giorni quel terreno verrà sfalciato: per salvare la famigliola di uccelli, raccomando al conducente della mietitrebbia di risparmiare un piccolo lembo di vegetazione. Lui si mostra comprensivo e, per approntare una "segnaletica salva beccamoschini", mi dà un vecchio ombrello da carrettiere che lascio aperto in corrispondenza della minuscola superficie da preservare. Il segnale funziona e il ciclo riproduttivo dei piccoli Passeriformi prosegue regolarmente nonostante la profonda trasformazione dell'ambiente prativo circostante. A questo punto decido di unire all'utile il dilettevole. Considerato che la coppia si è subito abituata alla presenza dell'ombrello, lo ricopro con una rete mimetica e mi ci sdraio sotto col tele puntato sul nido. Pur essendo a meno di tre metri da loro, i beccamoschini non si curano minimamente di me: imbeccano i giovani in continuazione con mantidi e Ortotteri, rimuovono dal nido sacche fecali, apportano nuovo materiale... insomma uno spettacolo! Dal nido dopo alcuni giorni si sono involati tre giovani e l'anno successivo la coppia ha nidificato a due metri di distanza dal punto della ripresa. Questa foto mi è cara come ricordo di una storia a lieto fine e come esempio di una modalità di ripresa rispettosa degli animali in riproduzione - Posproduzione di Antonio Guarrera (no crop)
